The
Rt. Hon Ken Clarke, was in Redditch on Friday 16th
October to officially open the recently relocated offices of
ESP - Electronics Line UK.
The
Major of Redditch ,Cllr Malcolm Hall, members of
Redditch Borough Council and representatives of
businesses involved in the creation of ESP’s new facility
on
Target
Park
,
Lakeside
were also present .
Andy Clements
, ESP’s Chief Executive explained, ‘‘
Redditch
is the perfect choice for our relocation.’’ He
continued: ‘‘This area offers the road and air networks
necessary for us to continue our UK growth and fulfill our
desire to reach new European customers ’’ Mr Clements
added that most striking of all was the positive ‘can
do’ attitude of other Redditch organisations both in the
public and private sector encountered throughout the
relocation process.
Mr
Clarke, who is the Shadow Business Secretary said: “Our
economy is going through a very hard time’.
He added: ‘’I am very glad to see an
international company investing in
Redditch
during this time.’’
The
new ESP premises will offer high quality ‘training
facilities’ and have been purpose built to meet the needs
of the company in the medium to long term future.
