CCTV / PC Interface Module

The EZ-UDVR is the key to creating IP based CCTV using standard CCTV cameras. EZ-UDVR combined with a surprisingly low specification PC can be used to create a stand alone viewing and recording system without the need for additional monitors or recorders. Once created the system can then be accessed via a standard local area network or remotely viewed from across the globe via the internet.

An EZ-UDVR system has two modes of operation, server and client. The server function requires a PC and the EZ-UDVR module. This is where the cameras are connected and is located at the site to be viewed. The client function is created by installing the EZ-UDVR software onto a PC either on the same network as the server, for local area viewing, or any PC connected to the internet for remote viewing. There is no need for an EZ-UDVR module at the client PC location. Recordings are made directly to the hard drive of the server PC but can be controlled and uploaded to the client location.

Unlike many remote viewing solutions the EZ-UDVR does not need a fixed IP address. Every unit has a specific serial code that allows the client software to instantly locate it. EZ-UDVR is the perfect answer for anyone requiring a truly flexible CCTV system with simple record, search and remote viewing capability. Ideal for monitoring of several remote locations or a single location from several remote monitoring locations.

Assignable Access Levels
Access to various levels of the functionality of the EZ-UDVR can be controlled by password. A client location assigned with the highest access levels can carry out the large majority of functions remotely.
