Atlas dual technology passive infrared/microwave detector is
ideal for protecting troublesome areas. Providing superior
detection innovations, this detector is protected from back
radiation due to its technologically-advanced stripline
antenna, provides 16M (53ft) coverage, a lok-down zone and
microprocessor-employed software filters. Atlas is available
with microphone for listen-in applications and has been
designed to meet the most stringent international standards.

Software
Filters
The software filters employed by this
Detector's microprocessor have been programmed
to eliminate false alarm created by common
external elements, such as fluorescent,
halogen and white lights, power pikes,
cellular interference, 900MHz wireless
devices, cooling and heating systems, etc. |

LED
Indication
The Atlas detection indication employs three
LED indicators (yellow = microwave, green =
PIR, red = alarm) and an indication channel.
LED indication is either DIP switch
programmable or can be set using the remote
LED enable/disable option (for LED indication
selection after the detector has been mounted
and the housing closed). |

Easy to Adjust
The Atlas PIR comes equipped with a DIP switch
for selecting LED activation, pulse count and
the software filter type. Programming is done
by simply flipping a switch! In addition,
trimmers are provided for adjusting microwave
and microphone (Atlas Microphone only)
sensitivity. |

Adaptive Interval
Pulse Count
Manipulating Electronics Line's Adaptive
Interval Pulse Counter, the Atlas
automatically adjusts the timing of pulse
counts based on the similarity of the received
signal to that of a real intrusion. This
detector can be set to either 1 or 2 pulse
count (PIR) for false alarm reduction. |
